Sew Chaotically! - Summer of Basics Make-Along - Garment #1 - The BEST pants!!! Butterick 6178

Sewing pants has had a 50/50 chance of success for me of late.  You may recall these attempts: Mixed results,  Sad results,  Better!!,  Best!!!  However, having decided on these three garments  for my Summer of Basics Make-Along, it was time to get started on Butterick's 6178 wide legged, cropped pants as they are the base garment!  Here's the low down....
I love View C, but decided to go with D's more streamlined silhouette.

Keeping innards clean and 'beauty full' using some of the binding I made.

Just the hand stitched hem to go....

Ta-dahhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gotta say, I'm pretty pleased with the fit of these pants!!!

I made a straight 12 with no adjustments.

They went together perfectly!!

I think they will dress up or down easily for work or play and span several seasons!

These are definitely a "basic" my wardrobe can use that I will make again!!!
Okay! Summer of Basics Make-Along garment #1 done!!!  Lisette's B6464 little sleeveless top up next!!  Sew chaotically! - les
